Privacy Policy.

Effective date: January 1, 2025. Last updated: September 17, 2026.

Playbook Marketing Studio ("Playbook," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or engage with our services.

01 Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you fill out a contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, request a consultation, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any other information you choose to provide.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect this information.

02 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to communicate with you about our services, to respond to your inquiries and requests, to send you marketing communications (with your consent), and to comply with legal obligations.

We may also use your information to personalize your experience, analyze trends and usage patterns, and protect against fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

03 Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

We may also disclose your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others' rights, property, or safety.

04 Google Account Data

We build and operate internal scheduling tools, including a calendar application called Tide, that connect to a Google Account when the account holder chooses to connect one. Connecting is always started by the account holder and can be undone at any time.

When a Google Account is connected, we request only the access those tools need: reading and writing calendar events, reading the list of calendars on the account, and reading free and busy times. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.

We use that access for one purpose: to show the account holder their calendar inside our tool and to create, change, and delete the events they ask us to. We do not use Google Account data for advertising, we do not sell it or pass it to anyone for their own use, we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and no human at Playbook Marketing Studio reads it except when the account holder asks us to resolve a support problem, or where the law requires it.

The one exception to passing data along is Zoom. When the account holder asks for a Zoom link on an event, we send Zoom the event name, start time and length so it can create the meeting, and we keep the join link Zoom sends back. If the event is later renamed or moved, we send Zoom the new name and time so the meeting stays in step.

Calendar events are read on demand and shown in the application. We store the access credentials Google issues, encrypted, in our database, which runs on Supabase, so the connection keeps working. Alongside it we keep a small amount of bookkeeping, such as the color assigned to an event and the Zoom link created for it. Access can be withdrawn at any time by disconnecting the account inside the application or by removing access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately ends our ability to read or change the calendar. Stored credentials are deleted when an account is disconnected, and any remaining bookkeeping is deleted on request at info@playbookmarketing.studio.

Playbook Marketing Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

05 Cookies & Tracking

06 Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

07 Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You may also opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or by contacting us directly.
